This is not a good product. It often fails to adequately dry clotes and has eaten buttons off of 8 button up shirts in about 5 months of ownership. If I could return it, I absolutely would. For as expensive as these machines are, there is no excuse for these flaws.

My 16 yr old GE washer/dryer had more functionality. The connection to the washer only works on certain settings and the default on each setting is to leave your clothes wet. If you want to actually dry the clothes, you need to manually change the settings which completely negates the benefits of the connectivity. This complaint likely sounds trivial, but I didn™™t need to spend over $1000 to have an appliance that requires manual settings.

Only had this combo for a few days so far, will need to give a more accurate review as time goes by, but as of now the dryer will not dry, multiple attempts per load, very frustrating. Energy efficient is not going to happen here, burning electric and spending lots of $$$ going to the laundry mat

Unit has not been able to dry clothes properly since it was purchased. Repair team does not know what the issue is and we have been waiting on parts. I tried to return the unit to Home Depot but they will not return the unit. Very unhappy with this purchase.

Let me start by saying this is a very nice looking set, love the matte blue look. Fairly easy to use but plenty buttons to keep you busy. Very large capacity so it definitely is great for large families, tons of linen or blankets and runs very quietly, although I do find I have to run the dryer twice the larger the load, not a biggie but for energy consumption its gonna cost. The only real issue I have is the LINT TRAP!! This is the worse design ever! Its so many small slots on the top its hard to dig it out the lint that when you slide clothes in or out it gets all over the clothes, and cleaning the whole fold out design is taskful and messy.

Never reviewed anything, but this item just sucks. Nothing comes out dry, or some items do but not all. Completely inconsistent results, takes forever. I replaced a perfectly functioning dryer without wifi ( why a dryer could possibly need that is just a wonder) and now I really wish I would have saved the money. Still not sure about the washer, but it can't handle a simple single item as Im guessing it went out of balance when wet... makes it kind of useless for simple items like a small bathroom rug. Bought for the fan/vent so as to hopefully avoid the inevitable stench that ruins clothes and probably relationships from front load washers. The dryer was added to stack them and tidy up the laundry room. Big fail.

Dryer has very large capacity and drys well. The controls are fairly intuitive to use. However, I did not rate this 5 stars because the dryer makes an annoying buzzing noise while running. I have had a service technician come out to look at it and he says it is fine -- but the noise is quite annoying. Other than that works great.

I hate it. It AI controlled so cycle is inconsistent. When I wash whites it says fill and doesn't fill. Says wash for 15 minutes and drum tumbles without water for 15 minutes. Something happens than fills with water. I wish it would just fill with water and go through a timer cycle. Water hammers the water lines hard. I was told I need a water hammer arrested. Tech came out and said its working correctly, just dont watch it. I bought because American made, US company I wish I could return it. Looks good. Great capacity

I absolutely love this washer dryer combo. But my dryer only lasted three years. And it was going to cost $250 for a site visit to determine what was wrong with it which I think probably the whole motherboard work gone so with the site visit and then the cost of the motherboard and whatever else they were gonna charge me with I just decided to buy a brand new one. I like this brand and like the way that it operates. It does a great job with the clothes and as especially helpful to have it up on a drawer, so it doesn™™t sit on the floor makes it easier to pull clothes in and out of.

The only way my clothes dry is on the cotton setting. I used the steam and all it does is wet my clothes. I have been very disappointed in this product especially since we paid so much for it. I should have bought a basic large capacity dryer.

We searched several brands and these new GE Profile set were the best overall buy for the money. Great look and ease of use, the controls are easy to navigate. My best feature ( for my wife, of course) was the ability to switch the door swing direction to make loading and unloading a breeze. The larger capacity tubs saves time and money and we both agreed that the clothes seemed cleaner and brighter. The first thing we noticed was how quiet it was because the laundry is next to the kitchen and that was just an added blessing. Great overall choice if you™™re looking for Capacity, Features and Energy rating. Highly recommended.

We needed a high-capacity gas dryer; and since our stove/range and refrigerator are GE (and have been excellent for 5 years so far) we looked into the GE Profile 7.8cuft gas dryer. Overall positive reviews online so we went for it. We love the modern classy look, the ease of controls; and the size is perfect for even tight spaces for such a high-capacity dryer. It's very quiet too. We noticed very little noise. It's extremely efficient to boot. We've only had it 24 hours, but so far after 4 loads it is everything we were looking for. Clothes get dry but not "fried." We skipped the pedestals to save money and we don't miss them. Oh, and we love that we don't have to download an app to access the wash cycles like you have to with LG- who needs more screen time when you're doing laundry? Don't hesitate. You can research yourself in circles these days. GE is top-notch.
